This evening’s supper is honey mustard roast ham, roasted carrots & sage stuffing. Dessert after supper was a little glass of 2016 Sauternes. Beautiful start to the weekend.

41 years on. Château d'Yquem 1983. Lovely sweetness balanced by acidity. Tropical fruit and candied stone fruit. Quite long. Perfect foe for the crème brulée aux noisettes. #wine #Bordeaux #Sauternes
