Quasars are some of the brightest objects in our universe, powered by supermassive black holes. And they also produce radio waves. Using radio telescopes on Earth, researchers can monitor radio emissions from quasars to help understand how they work. #BlackHoleWeek
One pretty cool 😎 #BlackHole you may have heard of is Sagittarius A* (Sgr A* for short), the supermassive black hole at the center of our Milky Way.
Fun fact: The first interstellar radio signals ever detected came from Sgr A*! #BlackHole Week
