The GCA’s ties to renowned conservationist Aldo Leopold go back to 1947 when he gave the Keynote address “The Ecological Conscience” at our Annual Meeting.

Floral Design at the GCA brings together members from across the country. This perfectly constructed design was created by a member of the Peachtree Garden Club and won Best in Show at a GCA Flower Show hosted by the Garden Club of Palm Beach.

The Founders Fund provides financial support, through a competitive grant program, to projects proposed by GCA member clubs This year the grant was awarded to Replanting Indigenous and Historic Northeastern Species to create an Edible Plant Learning Center

Keep your peonies blooming till summer.
Cut when the buds show color. Remove the leaves. Wrap in clear plastic wrap, and store horizontally in a refrigerator away from fruits and veggies. Cut the stems and place in tepid water in a cool area. They should bloom for about a week.
