BREAKING: UTPD plans to pursue a Places Weapons Prohibited charge— a third-degree felony— for a gun-related crime at Monday’s protest, a UT spokesperson said. UTPD plans to file with the Travis County District Attorney’s Office rather than the County Attorney. Updates to come.
