Disrupt your own pout of view

Curiosity is a powerful tool. If you think you know all or most- stop it. Be curious. Meet with people who don’t have your level of pedigree and ask lots of questions.

Don’t alter reality.

Don’t wait to build relationships- your future is better when you have “Uncommon Connections”

Words aren't true because you want them to be. Many people say false things to support their agenda … and if they know it is B.S. .. and say it enough times… they convince themselves. If I am wrong (and I am often) I want to hear why and get a bigger understanding.

Many people attend in-person events to find business connections… But if you don’t set the stage for good networking… They won’t get what they came for (and won't return next year). #eventprofs #ConferenceCatalyst

if I don’t know who you are… And you leave a voicemail don’t just give me your name and phone number and ask me to call you… Tell me what it’s about!

I heard a speaker say “My way is not the way”. This is so important for us all to remember when giving advice. Too many of us speak in “absolutes” to and direct others rather than just share ideas.

My views of things and how I ”feel” are not the same as others …nor should they be.

You cannot please everyone. Know yourself and your purpose and accept some won’t like you or your efforts.
