I stopped in to meet @Emirates President Sir Tim Clark KBE on my way home yesterday to thank him for the 14 direct flights Emirates runs weekly between NZ and Dubai, connecting NZ people & fresh products to the world

Today I announced the launch of NZ-UAE free trade negotiations with my counterpart د. ثاني أحمد الزيودي 🇳🇿🇦🇪 NZ goods and services exports to the UAE are valued over $1 billion each year. We look forward to growing our significant trade relationship through these #CEPA negotiations

Great to meet with Japan’s Minister responsible for CPTPP, Shindō Yoshitaka 新藤　義孝 in Paris yesterday. NZ and Japan are strong supporters of CPTPP and greater regional economic integration.
