Today is International Day of Human Space Flight, marking the first human space flight more than 60 years ago. In 1988, #Afghanistan sent is first cosmonaut to the MIR station, later replaced by the International International Space Station, and Pashto became fourth language spoken in space.

More than 60 years ago, history was made when the first human space flight took place. The groundbreaking event helped pave the way for space exploration for the benefit of all humanity.
