In preparing the World Craft City application it was evidently clear that many organisations and individuals were already committed to the preservation, promotion and advancement of the city’s rich tapestry of craftsmanship.

Blown away by Keele University Art Collection exhibition at the Brampton Museum. Part of the 75 years of Keele University celebrations - featuring Henry Moore, Arthur Berry, Jack Simcock & more. Beautifully curated. A superb show Arts Keele Arts Keele 👏👏👏

Placemaking and placeshaping through craft skills and interdisciplinary knowledge: World Craft City will acknowledge the importance of the distinctive heritage past for the present and futures of Stoke-on-Trent. A fabulous week and the outcome eagerly awaited.

And on this year’s #StaffordshireDay the WCC-International Jurors Panel will be visiting Stoke-on-Trent to kickstart their 3-day evaluation of why our renowned city of craft, artistry, innovation and industry deserves the attribution of World Craft City.
