People confirmed it was AA who fired the rockets at the School where thousands of Rohingya IDPs are sheltering. Very obvious now, AA is so desperately targeting Rohingya civilians and their racism can’t be hidden anymore.

Intense fighting in #Hpasawng continues between the #Burma military and the KNDF. The Burma military launched 30 #airstrikes - dropping over 300 bombs.

Warning to int'l community: situation for #Rohingya in Buthidaung & Maungdaw is extremely dangerous now. Today, we see people fleeing for their lives in Maungdaw. After intense fighting in Buthidaung over the past few days, Rohingya IDPs are trapped without any humanitarian aid.

Sparking new concerns in regards to the forced conscription, the #Burma junta has now suspended men from working abroad. Many expressed despair and confusion with this latest announcement.

#Myanmar junta has ordered the closure of 13 local churches of different denominations in the Chin capital Hakha, invoking the Martial Law, which prohibits the assembly of more than five persons, since 22 April 2024. Soldiers also physically occupy some of the church buildings.

After an hour-long interrogation, three civilians were abducted by the #Burma military in Hpakant township, #Kachin state on May 1. Their current status is unknown.
