These are important points about generative methods for molecules and the importance of chemists in the loop. We have to realize though that methods like DiffLinker are the first babysteps in a long process to improve them further. And improve they will.

Besides being hilarious this is also interesting. Could it be that, depending on context, LLMs really do glue bits of existing sentences together? Can we measure for word or a sentence by how many data-points it was influenced?
