The day commemorates the Schuman Declaration, a vision of unity that would lead to the birth of the #EU and make war between its member states unthinkable. The EU stands as a testament to these ideals, promoting peace & unity across Europe.

The AustrianDev funded #SCCR is implementing a #TripleNexus approach through seven consortium partners including ACP Schlaining Österr. Rotes Kreuz CARE Uganda PALM Corps Uganda Red Cross Society focusing on training peace monitors, SGBV and conflict resolution in West Nile. A unique project!

Last week I attended the 7th Joan Kagezi Memorial Lecture at Kololo Independence Grounds. I knew Joan personally and will never forget her professionalism, dedication and commitment. I commend the ODPPUGANDA for intentionally holding this annual memorial in her remembrance.

The Uganda Police Force Canine/K9 breeding center welcomed ADC in Uganda 🇦🇹🇺🇬 and fellow Justice Dev’t Partners during a Joint monitoring visit at Nagalama Police Station. The K9 unit strengthens investigations and improves the quality of evidence in Courts thereby increasing #accesstojustice .

Today I attended the first Judiciary Uganda National Court Open Day under the theme: A People-Centered Approach to Justice. It was an insightful day, interacting with many different stakeholders in the Justice Sector and discussing success stories and challenges alike.
