Cricketologist Gill may improve, give him time. Anyway, should not be part of WT20 squad. Gill, Sudharsan, Parag are all compact batters who should be India's test future (alongwith Pant, Raghuvanshi, Jaiswal, Jurel) but they are basically 20-25 off first 20 deliveries type of batters.
