Despite what some people might think, #BusinessArchives are not boring. What interesting items do you have in your collections?
#Archive30
You have #SportArchives ?!?! Why yes, yes we do. The Donald Briggs Collection is almost all sport photos; there's also sport content in many of other collections. We think these women's volleyball pics are from the late 1970s and 1980s. #Archive30
We are an active workplace in HarperCollins & we have the photos from #HCArchive to prove it! These images taken between 1948 & 1950 show past Collins staff taking part in different sports, including tug-of-war, during a company's sports day. #SportArchives #Archive30 ARA Scotland

#SportingArchives Does anyone remember playing nipsy? Or the similar game Knur and Spell? A sport regularly played by mining communities and referred to as 'poor man's golf' #Archive30
Why are #SportArchives so important? For us, they connect people with their memories of the game they love.
We held our #GolfMemories session today, where we looked through some of these magazines and programmes of the 1960s onwards

Many co-op societies had their own sports and social clubs for staff creating a sense of belonging to the movement. We received this photo from Nottingham of the co-op team in 1920. I wonder how many games they played and if they are still going? #Archive30 #SportArchive
#OTD in 2004, Clachnacuddin secured their 18th Highland League title, and the first since 1974-75, with a 2-1 victory over Cove. Our photo shows manager, Robbie Williamson, with the trophy which was presented after the final game of the season

#SportArchives in AustLit: Nathan F. Spielvogel (1914) — 'Fishing always strikes me as the most peculiar of sport. You go to a river and bait your hook and toss it out. Then you stand all the afternoon and watch your floater and think about your unpaid bills.'
