#ASM 's annual School Walk 2024 takes place on Thursday, 16th May 2024. Walk cards will be handed out this week to students by the TYBs. The generosity of our #SchoolCommunity in supporting this school fundraising event is significant & appreciated!

Well done to #ASM 's staff & students who participated in #DIL2024 in aide of Pieta, as well as those who took part with their families. It's a wonderful cause & a truly thought-provoking event. Thanks to our SRC for organising our involvement over the last few weeks. 💙🕯

#ASM 's TYs had the opportunity to learn a few new skills today during their Drivers' Ed programme with Irish School of Excellence/Drivers Ed Ireland. They learned how to change a tyre & experienced visual obstacles with the use of special goggles! They're all set for the road now - only missing their licences!

#ASM 's TYs were treated to a fascinating talk from Revenue's Transition Year Outreach programme. They aimed to educate students starting their first jobs in navigating their own personal tax situations. LCA2s also participated for one of their key assignments.

Some of #ASM 's Fifth Year Gaeilge students were treated to a 'bosca ceoil' lesson! As they study 'A Thig ná Tit Orm', Maidhc Dainín O Sé's autobiography, Ms Hunt gave the girls a crash course on his beloved accordion. Some of them even had a go! Maith sibh cailíní!

We were delighted to welcome Dr Lisa O'Rourke Scott to #ASM today to talk about studying psychology in Technological University of the Shannon. She also focused on potential career paths. A lot of interest in this course among our Sixth Years! #Careers #Guidance
