Fascinating talk by architect / designer Thomas Heatherwick Hay Festival on his new book ‘Humanise’ which aims to make buildings more accessible to the wider public! Thanks for the chat afterwards & a signed copy….diolch! 📚
What a brilliant two days on the road with Thomas Heatherwick! The #Humanise campaign demands we inject human emotion into the heart of design for the sake of ourselves & our planet, and where better to discuss this than at the incredible Hay Festival and The Charleston Trust.
So chuffed Studio Bark have picked up Archiboo #Activism award - especially after they created #MakingAStand w Michael Pinsky in #Leeds LEEDS 2023 (I’m stood in front of it in my profile pic!). Hugely deserved.

On Tuesday evening UKREiiF I was lucky enough to listen to #ThomasHeatherwick launch his #humanise campaign Citu . I think Leeds Council News Tracy Brabin WY 🌹 should launch a parallel… called #Nurture if we want the green cities we need , we need to grow the skills of stewardship
Beautiful venue Howard Assembly Room in #Leeds for #HeatherwickStudio #Humanise campaign event #UKREiiF . Excited to hear from Thomas Heatherwick and ace clients/friends Jonathan Wilson from Citu and Sharon Watson MBE, DL from NSCD | Northern School. Expertly assembled by Abigail Scott Paul
Totally loving what #ThomasHetherwick is saying at the launch of #Humanise about making buildings human again and joyful cities
