Living in Brighton, Ditchling Beacon (Downs) seems like my back garden! I used to cycle up as a teenager; now I take the bus. Before I knew their names I learned when flowers came out. May: Sanguisorba minor; Lotus corniculatus; Polygala vulgaris, Euphrasia nemorosa. BSBI: Botanical Society of Britain & Ireland
