Even where mainstream political parties are still led by septuagenarians, they wrap themselves in the emblems of youth.

At a basic demographic level, all political actors realise how the maths works: the young are the single largest bloc of new voters.

In light of the recent tragic incident where a #leopard was shot in #Kashmir , WWF-Pakistan strongly condemns the alarming rise in leopard killings across the region. It's disheartening that in just a few months, several leopards have fallen victim to senseless acts.

Thank you to Canada @EnvironmentCA and WWF for convening the alliance of #INC4 host countries to discuss shared objectives and collaborate ahead of the global #PlasticsTreaty negotiations, coordinated by UN Environment Programme in Ottawa this week.

We need swift and meaningful action to curb the plastic crisis. International leaders are meeting this week to continue developing a new set of global agreements that define tangible steps and a timeline to change how we produce and consume high-risk plastic.
