I saw young children crossing Strap Lane this morning with their parents having played football near there. How long would it take the Porsche to stop if they stepped out in front of it? 88 feet in just reaction time alone, yet still some complain about speed enforcement.

Saddened for the local community who championed their installation and campaigned for years to do so. These cameras have improved road safety and will be replaced ASAP. Investigations are underway to identify the mindless vandals who did this. They have achieved nothing.

We have dedicated staff rotating through volunteer CSW deployments, supporting their endeavours with visible enforcement. A fantastic example
of communities and policing working together to reduce harm. Nearly 1400 volunteers now signed up in Devon and Cornwall.

Our South Devon team identifying, yet again, that speeding drivers in Torbay are not expecting to be held to account. This is all the more concerning when you read agilysis.co.uk/wp-content/upl… where Torbay is ranked number 1 for all the wrong reasons

Several hundred drivers will have seen this enforcement activity. They weren’t expecting to see us, but will now wonder if we are there next time they pass. We can be anywhere. This is how we help to change behaviour.
