The Gov't of Japan provides 13 medically equipped ambulances to 8 hospitals in Kabul and Kandahar through UNOPS. Today Amb. Kuromiya attended the workshop for the ambulance drivers and expressed his hope that these ambulances will be fully utilized to save as many people as possible.

.World Health Organization (WHO) welcomed a delegation from The Gov't of Japan last week to visit the Afghan Japan Hospital in #Kabul . This visit further strengthens the partnership between #Japan and WHO in #Afghanistan , focusing on enhancing response capacity for infectious diseases in referral hospitals.
