Today is International Day of the Midwife. CGP’s visit to Sierra Leone with Helen Grant OBE, Alex Davies-Jones MP & Caroline Dinenage saw the extraordinary International Rescue Committee - UK Saving Lives Programme at Bo Hospital, training midwives. Empowering midwives is core to the UK’s role in saving lives.
