After the Society of Author (Society of Authors) vote, we're updating our trade union strategy.

We're evaluating the pros and cons of staying in the SoA, as well as considering forming a new chapter at a new union (1/3)

All eyes on Rafah. People debating student protest slogans want to distract you from what the students are actually protesting, which is this genocide.

Centrists need to stop hand-wringing over language, rhetoric and “nuance”. There is nothing nuanced about 1.5m people being kettled into a tiny space on the verge of being obliterated. Most are children. We’re set to witness slaughter on an unimaginable scale.

Israel is heavily bombing Rafah, Gaza’s last place of refuge, in the middle of the night, killing scores of civilians, most of them children.

There are many others injured and buried under the rubble.
