Proud to have a chapter on Ireland in this excellent (& massive!) new book from Cambridge University Press: thanks to my co-author Anja Murray & editor Graham Tucker.

The chapter is broad-ranging, covering science, policy & law and may be of interest for reading lists in a range of subjects.

We can do excellent work in decreasing emissions.

We can get to zero.

But if ecosystems degrade, if soil degrades, if forests & marine ecosystems degrade, they are not able to absorb carbon or mitigate heat.
