Last night was awesome, I’m still utterly amazed. I went to Peabody, about an hour NNE of Wichita & was able to see the Aurora Borealis! The dusk substorm was awesome but I missed the real show, 1-3am. If you missed out, more Aurora chances this weekend but also clouds & storms.

This is incredible y’all, 10000000x better than last year. I can see Aurora with my naked eye. I witnessed a bright red SAR arc & now large pillars to my NE. It actually seems lighter out due to the Aurora. Long exposure is still the way to go, not bright enough to shoot video.
