Congratulations to the first ever The Building Heroes Charity Green Skills Academy students who are graduating today. The newly qualified cohort will be the first wave of retrofit surveyors and assessors helping to improve our housing stock.

Midway through the final week of the @Buildingheroes Green Skills Academy, and the big focus is industry and employability. Our learners have completed their assessments and enjoyed a visit to site. Next stop, graduation!

Our Retrofit course is making remarkable progress, with our former military learners delving deep into their training journey and expanding their knowledge.

Week 4 of the @Buildingheroes Green Skills Academy, and the cohort are learning all about defects and ventilation while completing their retrofit assessments. We're nearly at the end of the programme, and our learners have come on leaps and bounds!

Last week our CEO Ian Rylatt met the recruits at the inaugural The Building Heroes Charity Green Skills Academy, alongside the Streetworks and Groundworks programmes. The visit emphasised the importance of reskilling and redeploying veterans and Service leavers into the construction industry

Week three at the Green Skills Academy and the guys have put last week’s learning into practice. They’ve been surveying lots of different properties to produce domestic energy assessment reports. A fantastic programme facilitated by the forward-thinking team at The Building Heroes Charity.
