Due to the benevolence of the Wall gods, I happened to visit Vindolanda Trust this morning with an Archaeology at NCL fieldtrip, to see the newly discovered phallus! A fine example of the splitcock type from the Collins phallus typology, and Vindolanda's ?16th stone phallus carving
New set of freshly prepared thin sections delivered today! Spent the morning looking at tiny fragments of the Early Bronze Age from the Isle of Man #geoarchaeology
