Instead of keeping my phone on silent, yesterday I began using DND, where only a few people and a few apps can easily contact me. I think silent is better. I miss too much with DND on.

Among the activism I did while in prison, I typed the motion that got Willie Gonzales compassionate release in December. That was one of the high points of my freedom activism. I got someone out of prison.

Prison changes your priorities in wild ways. At one point I acquired a plastic jar, and was like 'HOLY FUCK! A JAR! This is incredible!'

It was a jar of Maxwell House instant coffee, which I acquired from a Jew (only Jews could order it) and drank with my cellie over weeks.
