Today we had the pleasure of hosting the Pacific Diplomatic Trainees as High Commissioner Harinder Sidhu AM shared her experiences of the tradecraft of diplomacy with diplomats from across the Pacific as part of their training with Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington

✅releasing a kiwi

Their Excellencies, the Governors-General of 🇦🇺 and 🇳🇿, and their spouses were privileged to release a kiwi back into the wild yesterday. Thanks to Save the Kiwi for facilitating little Cove’s release onto Rotoroa Island - a sanctuary for baby kiwi.

His Excellency David Hurley, the Governor General of Australia landed in New Zealand yesterday and was given a Ceremony of Welcome. We were delighted to host Their Excellencies for an afternoon tea.

We are deeply grateful for the heartfelt expressions of sympathy by so many New Zealand friends at yesterday’s tragic events in Bondi Junction.

At times like these it is a great comfort to have our Kiwi cousins by our side.
