No what….. I won’t keep you waiting… here’s the results from the start of the pilot… so the story so far looks a little bit like this…..

A busy shift for our charity: CCP/Dr attending 7 emergencies + Emergency Responders

We attended multiple major trauma& cardiac arrests, bringing hospital care to the roadside

ER volunteers were first on scene for 2 patients

Last night we joined other emergency services including @hfrs @hertspolice @bheccs ehaat_ in a training exercise at The Snow Centre 🥶

Around 300 people took part in this multi-agency exercise testing emergency service capability to respond to emergencies in extreme weather!

Our Beds & Herts Emergency Critical Care Scheme (black helmets) were the 1st critical care to arrive

Excellent team working & prep to save lives in emergencies

Our critical care doctors & paramedics have been available & responding to emergencies

All our team have given up their days off to volunteer & care for the most seriously injured & unwell patients this weekend

The inaugural Pre-Hospital Maternity and Newborn Care conference is taking place on 3rd September. Tickets will go on sale soon alongside the incredible programme supported by experts. All clinicians working in the PreHospital setting should attend. Please share widely!

A trauma training day hosted by BHECCS with multiprofessional input from EEAST Ambulance Service Luton and Dunstable University Hospital

Our charity runs these sessions to train with our colleagues, utilising our specialist faculty to share expertise which aims to save more lives for seriously injured patients

We been busy with a fleet of the same, but today we have our very own Beds & Herts Emergency Critical Care Scheme ‘99’ in the shop… she’s having a shoreline fitted and upgrading her batteries to keep her on the 🛣️ flashing for longer 👊. (@_Tom_A_Ward informs us it will also stop his ears bleeding by Junaid)
