The title of this watercolour is recorded as 'Rather Dilapidated'. All I can say on this Friday evening is - same!

I first 'discovered' the Pre-Raphaelites as a teenager at Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, so I had to go to their #VictorianRadicals exhibition. Wonderful to see new works and old favourites. And I especially loved that the audio guide focused on the women of the Pre-Raphaelite movement.

St Just Tin Miners is currently on show in the exhibition The Exceptional Harold Harvey. Penzance-born Harvey was a true ‘son of Cornwall’, and a notable member of the Newlyn School artists’ colony, which flourished from 1880 to 1940.
