As Health subcommittee chair, l've proudly fought against GOP efforts to ban coverage of gender-affirming care.

Today is Barbara Johns Day in Virginia. At 16, Barbara Johns led protests to integrate Virginia’s public schools, which became the underpinning of the Brown v. Board of Education decision.

We celebrate her bravery and her efforts to build a more equal and just society.
