Teaching LTS 3100 - Latinx Communities in the US next Spring at Baruch College✨

Students will have an opportunity to participate in a teach-in performance al estilo teatro campesino focused on the content of the course 🎭

Art used is by Julio Salgado & Alberto Ledesma 🎨

Students will have the opportunity to learn from migrant knowledge, paint migrant portraits that will be installed in the Playas de Tijuana Mural Project & engage in a teach-in taking place during the first week of May 🎨

Spoke with the Texas Tribune on why border walls don’t deter migration. Instead, they force people to take dangerous routes to enter the U.S.
