This is astonishingly good. Told in first person plural (you don’t find out who ‘we’ are until the very end) it begins in 1933 with the discovery of two sets of clothes on the cliffs of Little Sark. Dark and very very funny. Out in June. Thank you Baskerville for the proof

I'll be in Sunderland in June! This event is on SotD's first birthday, and the day before MY birthday, so it seems rude not to come - maybe we can have cake??
Also a nice full-circle moment - I did my undergrad in Creative Writing University of Sunderland 👩🎓

Only just started this but am already smitten. 1930s mystery, narrated by a bitingly funny ‘we’. A sort of Du Maurier meets EM Delafield (what could be better?) A hoot! Thank you Baskerville
