Dr. Dr Iziaq Adekunle Salako , Minister of State Environment Ministry , delivers insightful remarks at the Stakeholders’ Meeting on Biosafety and Biotechnology in Abuja.
He reaffirms the National NBMA, Nigeria dedication to regulatory fidelity and public engagement, urging collaboration and informed dialogue among stakeholders.
Earlier this week Environment Ministry held it's 17th Meeting of the National Council of Environment.
The DG/CEO emphasized that NBMA is in place to ensure adequate level of protection in the use of modern biotech products such as GMOs as enshrined in the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety.
