Over 4000 people affected by mudflows in Kyrgyzstan are in need of support to restore their households.

⛈️Heavy rains in several regions of Kyrgyzstan have caused mudflow affecting over a thousand of households.

The Kyrgyzstan Red Crescent teams have been delivering food, water, hygiene and household items to the affected families as well as supporting with cleaning houses and streets.

🚨 Global measles cases nearly doubled in one year, according to World Health Organization (WHO). Countries in Europe and Central Asia are particularly affected.

Across the region, our Red Cross and Red Crescent teams promote measles vaccination and regular immunization because it saves lives. 🫶
