I was so thrilled to show Minister Brenda Bailey the innovation happening in the Kootenays.

Spearhead is a small but mighty family run business that has a global impact and is getting the highest value out every 🌲.

As your MLA, I have a lot of work I look forward to continuing over the summer.

If you are interested in being part of our team, please reach out to get involved as a volunteer.

I am so grateful to have spent some time in the forest today! What a gorgeous day to be home in the Kootenays.

What are you doing this long weekend?

Today's the last day of session here in Victoria. From housing, to health care, to cost of living, here are the new actions that will make a difference in the lives of you and your loved ones. There’s much more work to do, but together, we’ll make life better for people in BC.

Pick up and drop off shouldn't be harder than trigonometry. We're opening up more before- & after-school child care options on school grounds around BC. Parents, that means ONE pick up & drop-off location. This will hopefully make life a little bit easier for the whole family.

It’s not every day we get to be a part of history.

The B.C. Legislature just passed the Haida
Nation Recognition act.

☑️ after 150 years we are affirming what has always been true
☑️ 50 years since the Haida formed their national government
☑️ today we passed the bill …

This is a great step by our government & minister Adrian Dix ! I also get great positive feedback about this in our community. Premier David Eby, MLA Roly Russell. & I heard overwhelming support for this during our last town hall with people from our region! Thanks to our pharmacists.

For all of John Rustad comments about supporting working ppl, this is a reminder that he reports to a small group of corporate elites.

This upcoming election will be decided at the kitchen table, not the boardroom table.

John Rustad is refusing to stop his MLAs from opposing the right to choose.

This 'star' candidate was profiled at the legislature last month. Imagine how easy it would be to reduce access to abortion if he was health minister. And he's just one of the ones we know about.

As seen in the US, women’s rights are under threat, and as noted on CKNW yesterday “a determined provincial government could limit access to reproductive choice”. We should be very troubled by the anti-choice BC Conservatives.

Access to is vital for building a more equitable society.🏡

Today I introduced a Bill that enshrines the work we've done to pioneer the 1st $10aDay Child Care in Canada, providing crucial relief for families today, with lasting social and economic benefits for generations.

I was in my 20's when I paid for a round of IVF after years of fertility treatments.

It was unsuccessful for me. And heartbreaking.

One was all I could afford.

I'm glad women in BC have more support now.

Ps.. I was blessed with FIVE beautiful children through adoption.
