Parents deserve access to affordable, high-quality child care. This month, we’re welcoming more than 1,375 child care spaces into the $10 a Day ChildCareBC program. This will help BC families save thousands of dollars a year, and will also benefit our communities.

This year we increased the wage enhancements for most ECEs in licensed child care to $6/hr & added the Specialized Certification Grant - up to $3000 for educators with specialize education!

The Ministry of Education and Child Care announced1,377 more childcare spaces are now a part of the $10 a day Program in BC including 28 new spaces at New Generations Early Learning in Langley.
