Distracted Driving Awareness month is still underway.

On Friday, Burnaby RCMP's traffic unit teamed up with Metro Vancouver Transit Police & ICBC for an enforcement initiative at Willingdon and Lougheed.

28 tickets, including 21 for distracted driving were issued in just 3 hours (File Images)

Another great day at Burnaby RCMP Youth Academy, it included:

🚔 Scenario-based training, including a simulated traffic stop where students put their note-taking and investigative skills to the test
