Car snapped on him coming into Turn 2. Spun around 180-degrees, hit the outer wall a couple times, got some air underneath the car & flipped it.

Nolan Siegel has crashed on his qualifying sim. Car briefly got airborne & flipped upside down.

.Kyle Larson's best lap during his first Fast Friday qualifying simulation run: 232.493 mph.

Of note, it was a true no-tow lap.

The fastest laps of McLaughlin (233.932 mph) & Josef (233.868 mph) had the smallest of tows, it seems.

We have cars on track but we have a yellow for debris in Turn 1.

Scott McLaughlin is currently fastest at 233.932 mph.

Alexander Rossi is fastest on the non-tow list at 232.996 mph.

In that lap of 233.8 mph, Josef briefly touched 241 on the straights.

For reference, during Arie Luyendyk's unofficial lap record above 239 mph run in practice in '96, he touched 244.

That's nearly 10 mph faster than the fastest no-tow lap we'd seen so far this week up to this point, turned by Colton Herta yesterday.

We're green for Fast Friday.

Cloudy & 72 degrees ambient with a 90-degree track temp.

Pretty ideal conditions to see what the extra horsepower boost delivers (with a car lighter by 30 pounds, no less).
