Rick Pitino landing Deivon Smith could be a game-changer for St. John’s. He’s really good. One of my favorite guards in the portal.

One freshman in the portal I'd buy stock in: UCLA's Berke Buyuktuncel. Circumstances weren't ideal this year. Was held out early by NCAA, then hurt his ankle, then had a wrist injury. He's really skilled. Wouldn't be surprised if he's averaging double digits next season.

Think this is a good change. Didn’t see any reason why grad transfers should get entire summer to decide to leave while everyone else had a deadline.
