We’re excited to share that our conservation and care team leaders recently visited China and met the two giant pandas to be cared for by the San Diego Zoo: Yun Chuan (pronounced yoon chu-an) and Xin Bao (pronounced sing bao).

Councilmember Stephen Whitburn The four new all-way stops you helped us secure in Altadena have made a huge difference in our community. It’s safer for people to cross the street now, much less angry honking at intersections, and most importantly: no more crashes. Thank you for being proactive on this issue!

While this all-way stop is a win for safety and our community, it should not have taken the death of Stephen Debow to bring this change. Our focus must be on preventing tragedies. I will continue to champion further reforms to ensure that our streets are safe for everyone.
