Congratulations to LTCOL Ed Cousins, who has taken over as Commanding Officer 6 RAR from COL Richard Niessl. COL Niessl has done an incredible job, and we are all looking forward to LTCOL Cousins’ stewardship of one of the most storied units within the Australian Army.

JTG629.3 was pleased to be able meet with the Prime Minister this week. He thanked the members of our team for their support to Queenslands Emergency and Essential Services in enabling their restoration of power and repairs to schools in SEQ. #YourADF

ADF members have been hard at work assisting emergency services with recovery following storms which have hit South-East Queensland in recent weeks.

The Army has a strong relationship with the local community, and our soldiers are honoured to help.

JTG 629.3 has continued to support Queenslands emergency and essential services in relief from the SEQ Christmas Storms. Our teams are working with QBuild and the SES by clearing debris to enable impacted schools to reopen in time for classes (don’t thank us kids 😉) #YourADF
