Great update here from Callie Lawson-Freeman. League to investigate Aces' sponsorship deal, as it should. Unlike NIL deals in college, the W has a salary cap. Aces and LVCVA deal will almost certainly be cleared, but league can't have precedent of not looking into these matters

Something I didn't note in this story but probably should have: the current CBA is set to expire in 2027 but the WNBA and Players Association could opt out later this year. Seems very likely that'll happen.
