Started the day in Madison County talking to Jackson leadership at the Rotary Club luncheon and finished the day announcing Firestone Airide’s $9M investment in Dyersburg.

TNECD is in West TN today, and the 1st stop for @commishtnecd is at the Jackson Rotary.

Whether it's a 5,000-job project like Ford's investment in Stanton or a 40-job project like the one we will announce later today, the growth happening here will impact generations to come.

It's been a busy day.

This morning, TNECD Deputy Commissioner Allen Borden and I met with Jessee Martens and Abbey Reding at AkzoNobel to learn more about the Nashville powder manufacturing plant.

And this afternoon, I spoke to local leaders at the Hendersonville Chamber luncheon.

Last October, we traveled to Roane County to announce Malibu Boats’ $75 million investment. Today, we made a second trip to announce Protomet’s $25 million investment and the creation of 250 new jobs.

It was a great day for the community and state of Tennessee.

Today’s announcement is exciting for East Tennessee and builds upon the growth this region has experienced this year. Since 2023, the state has landed more than 3,400 jobs in the Greater Knoxville area, and we appreciate Protomet for strengthening that number with 250 new jobs.

Today, I chatted with Leadership Opportunity Smith County, a program designed to create community awareness, encourage discussion & develop leadership skills.

Smith County is part of the Upper Cumberland region, which has landed 30+ projects & approx. 3K new jobs since 2019.

This expansion not only highlights Corky’s commitment to Tennessee but also reaffirms Tennessee’s position as a premier destination for thriving businesses. We’re proud to support Corky’s growth and look forward to the continued success it will bring to Shelby County and beyond.

I can’t think of a better location to see Bridgetown expand than right here in TN. Our state is fortunate to have more than 1,000 miles of interstate, six commercial airports and an exceptional workforce to enhance Bridgetown’s manufacturing and distribution in TN.

Babynov USA announced in October 2020 that it would invest nearly $45 million and create 147 new jobs in Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee.

Today, three years after it opened its doors in Macon County, we were finally able to celebrate the French organic baby food manufacturer. 👏

TN's low cost of doing business and highly trained workforce with direct access to two-year, four-year and technical institutions, make our state an ideal location for business growth. We are grateful Schneider Electric chose TN. Congrats to all that made this announcement a reality.
