2/3 NEW study by CoMo Consortium researchers in Nature Comms nature.com/articles/s4146… estimates the potential number of lives saved and life-years gained if this treatment were to be rolled out in the UK and globally, as well as the cost-effectiveness of this intervention.
1/3 In June 2020, the #recoverytrial a large, multicenter, randomized, open-label trial performed in the UK reported that dexamethasone administered for 10 days reduced mortality in hospitalised COVID-19 patients needing oxygen and ventilation by 18% and 36%, respectively.
