We typically define the spatial specificity of TMS in terms of the electric field. However, the non-linear response behavior of neurons affects the spatial resolution of TMS, which hence depends also on the stimulation intensity.

At ICON 2022, a symposium titled 'ConnectToBrain: Closed-loop multi-locus TMS for modification of cognitive processes' will be held on Sunday 22. Speakers will be Prof. Risto Ilmoniemi, Prof. Vittorio Pizzella, Dr. Pedro Gordon, Prof. Gian Luca Romani, Prof. Ulf Ziemann.
