The fruitful tour covered a wide range of topics from horticulture and plant pathology to crop sustainability, pest management, #AI and #AgInnovation .
In Ithaca, FAO Director-General QU Dongyu also toured the wide array of state-of-the-art facilities and labs on Cornell University campus, including Cornell UniversityEEB's Tools for Forest Carbon Sequestration, Experiment Station and food facilities at Cornell UniversityCALS, and the methane respiration stalls at Cornell UniversityAnSci.
During FAO Director-General QU Dongyu's visit to Cornell University, he met with Benjamin Z Houlton 🌍 and other faculty members from Cornell UniversityCALS, the School of Integrative Plant Science, and Cornell UniversityGlobal, where he learnt about their research programs and work to help transform agrifood systems and protect #PlantHealth .
