Sophomore Sydney Stapf earned academic All-Ivy honors for the first time in her career. #YellCornell

Senior Lilly Travieso garnered honorable mention recognition. She finished the season as the team’s leader in overall (.330) and conference (.390) batting average and tied her career high in hits (32).

Freshman Hailey Pirkey earned her first career Ivy League honor. She emerged as an offensive threat for the Big Red during Ivy League play, batting .339 with four home runs and five doubles while driving in 14 runs.

Sophomore Lauren Holt earned second-team honors for the second year in a row. She drove in multiple runs in 11 games and became the first Cornell player since 2010 -- and one of nine in program history -- to drive in 40 or more runs in a season.

Sophomore Kyrie Denny, who earned her third win of the season, pitched all seven innings as the Big Red took down Princeton 6-4 on Friday afternoon. Sophomore Ella Harrod and freshman Hailey Pirkey each drove in a pair of runs.

The Cornell Softball team will now play one game at Syracuse on Wednesday instead of a doubleheader. Its weekend series against Princeton has also been adjusted in anticipation of inclement weather.
