ESPN's Dave Fleming, who witnessed the incident with Scheffler: 'It was clear when we were watching that they had no idea who this was in the car.'

ESPN's Jeff Darlington, also on the scene said the police officer was 'pretty heated.'

Said Scheffler acknowledged he had kept

En route to course, an officer told our vehicle “there was a fatality involving a bus & then someone tried to run over one of our cops”

When I followed up if person in question was taken off premise, he responded “that person is going to jail”

Traffic into course not moving.

Denver starting 5 is now minus-50 in 110 minutes in this series. Even if you posited some injury issues and weird blowouts, I'm not sure I would have conceived of that as possible in any series.
