Your response to Fadumo was highly problematic. I don't know if you intended it that way. If not, some reflection and an apology would be advisable. Regardless of party, it made me sad and uncomfortable to read it.

These requirements may mean that major housebuilders make less money...

but housebuilder profits can be over £60k PER HOME

Imagine arguing new homes shouldn't bother with:
-insulation (lower bills)
-electric car chargers (lower bills)
-biodiversity plans (fu nature)
-water quality plans (yay pollution!)
-affordable home requirements (what affordability crisis?)
-2nd staircase for fires (seems fine)
