Beautiful sunny morning with Jeff Smith, hacking4chorlton and Chorlton Park Labour councillors for the official opening of the extension to the facilities at Hough End Leisure Centre. Good to see the fantastic new football pitches, that are already well used by our local community.

Great ideas from Andy Burnham here. Too many people in Cheadle desperately need to see more social and affordable housing. Disappointing that the Lib Dems have blocked Stockport being part of the GM Places for Everyone plan - a real opportunity missed.

Y1 learnt all about capacity! We tested the capacity of different containers by seeing how many spoons or cups of water they could hold. We found that it wasn't always the tallest container that could hold the most water as some were shorter but much wider.  #WDCEmaths
